Glen Albyn Worker Fined

This was published in the Aberdeen Press and Journal on Tuesday 23 August 1977 and is one of those bizarre finds when searching the archives.

After all, giving your work address isn't something you'd do nowadays and it must have been a slow news week to make the front of the Press & Journal. But in doing so it confirms a George Skinner worked at the distillery and it seems had engaged in a spot of 'poaching' which is never looked upon kindly by the law. Even today, killing a deer can have implications.

George it seems would have to make do without his rifle on any further outdoor trips.
